Lost in Transition: A patient-provider service framework to improve transitional care in sickle cell disease (SCD) patients.
9 month interaction with patients and care-providers from Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Used ethnographic research and design synthesis methods to develop a personalized service framework for SCD patients to transition from pediatric to adult care.
Developed, evaluated and refined analogue and digital artifacts which provided SCD patients with motivation and a shared understanding of the transition process with their care providers.
During my work at the Live Well Collaborative between 2011 and 2013, I participated in four multidisciplinary studios with Boeing.
Studio topics were: 1. Future airplane lavatories 2. Seating 3. Solutions for aging flight attendants 4. Ancillary revenue for airlines.

Low-income american families have limited access to dental care and they do not perform preventative care until the problem intensifies. 830,590 ER visits were accounted for in 2009 due to this.

Provide a strategy for TD Bank to foster lifelong customer relationships with students and recent graduates.
Research: Conducted secondary research and interviews to 20 different students and graduates in different stages of loan taking and repayment in order to understand the needs and desires of student loan borrowers. Used insights to create personas including their story as well as their financial journey.Solution: A mentorship program which allows more-experienced financial customers to share their experiences with those contemplating a student loan. Experienced customers who participate earn rewards from the bank. Their interaction occurs through an social website called PIVOT, where they can also participate in a loan-repayment challenge where they can team up with other students to repay their student loans.
